Hey, I'm Vanessa! I love to paint, I always have. I struggled with this a while, because I always felt like I wasn't 'skilled enough to be a professional artist. Until, I realized that it wasn't about comparing my work to someone else's ; what made me an Artist was the fact that I loved making art. Sculpting in highschool art class, drawing patterns on my phone screen with my finger, touching a paintbrush to a canvas. The way those things made me feel at ease, at peace.
